Andrea Imbert is the English editor of Forests News at CIFOR-ICRAF. A visual storyteller and creative communicator, she brings science to life through compelling narratives and imagery that connect global audiences to the people and landscapes behind forest research.

Fiston Wasanga

Born in Isangi, in the Tshopo province of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Fiston Wasanga is a professional environmental photographer whose work explores rainforests, their fragility, and their inhabitants. A documentary reporter and landscape photographer, he blends scientific curiosity and human sensitivity to create images that inform, raise awareness, and inspire.

Marlon dag

Marlon del Aguila Guerrero ( Marlon dag), a Peruvian wildlife and conservation photographer, is based in Tarapoto, a city in the heart of the Amazonian jungle. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and diverse wildlife of the Amazon, he developed a deep appreciation for its beauty and the urgency to preserve it. His early explorations in the rainforest sparked a passion that would shape his life ’ s work, ultimately driving him to capture the essence of this unique ecosystem through his lens.
